Customer Announcement: Scheduled Maintenance

Last week we announced the completion of our acquisition of Utopia Net, Inc. and I wanted to personally let you know that we are very excited to be a part of this great company, and believe the efforts of our combined teams will bring added value and greater opportunity to our customers and business partners. We are taking great efforts to ensure that this transition is as smooth as possible.

As we begin to operate within Utopia Net, the company name will stay the same. The Utopia Net company logo has been updated as well as our corporate website.  With the website redesign, we are working on a new customer portal that will give you access to our online billing system, an integrated ticket system, knowledgebase, downloads, announcements, network issues tool and much more.

Your input will be essential as we merge these two great companies. Meeting your business needs and preferences as we integrate processes will take precedence. We have already begun to visit with Utopia Net's customers to learn how we can better serve you. I also want to hear from you regarding any aspect of the relationship where we might improve.

We will take the next several months to optimize sales coverage, services and processes by building on the best of both companies to give you a superior experience with Utopia Net.

Our goal is to provide you with the most dependable and flexible hosting infrastructure in the industry. To ensure the most reliable service possible, we will be moving the Utopia Net servers to our world class datacenters. This move will allow for greater performance, reliability and flexibility of your web server. To ensure the most reliable service, On August 13, 2010, between 12:01am and 5:00am EST, our datacenter operations team will perform this maintenance in our data center to ensure the most reliable and consistent power and network connectivity to your servers.

While we've scheduled a five-hour maintenance window, we do not anticipate any downtime. Our technicians have performed this maintenance in our other data centers many times and have established a process to minimize any outage period during the moves.

While we have no plans on making any other major changes at this time, we will continue to evaluate everything as we get feedback from customers to determine if any other changes need to be made to provide the most dependable and flexible hosting infrastructure in the world.

We will notify you, with plenty of lead time, of any changes that will affect you.
